If you are a smoker and want to quit smoking, you are not alone but you may also know that easier said than done. Almost every 5th smoker tends to quit smoking for the sake of health and some may want to do it for monetary benefits. Quitting smoking may tempt you to turn to e-cigarettes as an alternative mode from traditional cigarettes to not smoking at all. 

However, is smoking e-cigarettes or vaping a better alternative than using tobacco products? Can switch to e-cigarettes help you quit smoking once and for all? Let’s reveal some truths related to vaping:

Vaping is less injurious

You must have heard that cigarettes are injurious to health but e-cigarettes have nicotine (extracted from tobacco), mixed with a wide range of flavours and heated with other chemicals to create a water vapour that you inhale. A regular tobacco cigarette contains almost 7,000 chemicals, many of which are toxic. On the contrary, e-cigarettes expose you to fewer toxic chemicals than traditional cigarettes.

Vape cartridge flavourings, which range from fruity flavours to desserts to cream brulee, are a major point that keeps people stuck to these instruments. And this is something that entices teens to use vape. New and exciting flavours are very appealing to youth and these are the things that were not used in conventional cigarettes, otherwise, young generation may likely to use them with the same zeal and passion.

Vaping is still bad for health

Nicotine is the same agent that is used both in traditional and e-cigarettes and this is what makes people addicted to smoking. It makes you crave a puff and let you suffer withdrawal symptoms if you try to ignore the craving. Do we need to emphasize that nicotine is a toxic substance? Though e-cigarettes are safer than traditional cigarettes, yet they are also not safe for your heart and overall health.
